Rob Marandino has over 15 years of experience in the direct to consumer industry having held numerous senior level B2C marketing positions, including: Vice President Marketing for Sono Bello, Chief Marketing Officer for GoodTimes Entertainment (Billy Blanks), Chief Marketing Officer for TrimSpa, Chief Marketing Officer for Fig Body Contouring, Chief Marketing Officer for ThermaClear Acne Clearing Device, Vice President Marketing for Marketing Architects (HurryCane) , Vice President Marketing for Pryor Health, Chief Marketing Officer for Youthful Beauty Anti-Aging Skincare, and Vice President Marketing for Weider Nutrition. 


He has worked with numerous start up and early stage privately funded and venture capital /private equity backed firms, including Bessemer Venture Partners, Quadrangle Group, and Band of Angels as well as numerous consulting firms that provide PE/VC support and direction. 


Throughout his career Rob has been responsible for bringing predominantly health & wellness brands to life, scaling these brands and positioning them for successful IPO and/or exit strategies. In so doing he has structured, led and managed multiple go to market teams including market research, branding, creative development, digital and TV/video as well as call center operations and media management with budgets from grass root level to those in excess of $40M per year. 


A thought provoking team leader, Rob is also extremely hands-on and has an uncanny eye and respect for the consumer journey and the intricate creative nuances that need exist in a consistent yet escalating manner throughout the multi-media, multi-touch world in which we live today. And his equally detailed analytic mind enables him to constantly test and evaluate through on-going A/B testing backed by clearly defined media analytics. 


He has successfully managed both internal and external teams including multiple third party digital, TV, social media influencer, and reputation management firms as well as scientific advisory boards, FTC/FDA legal claim substantiation law firms, and multiple product development manufacturing firms in the nutrition, supplements, exercise equipment, medical device and anti-aging cream categories.


While a consummate marketer who writes compelling lead generating copy, extracts emotional testimonial video, and can lead a production shoot behind camera, Rob is a bottom right hand corner of the spreadsheet professional. He delivers 360 degree results working hand in hand with CFO’s, CEO’s and the investor community, and provides profitable return on investment to the companies with whom he has partnered.
